MacKenzie Heights Overview

Centred around beautiful Balaclava Park, the Mackenzie Heights neighbourhood on Vancouver’s west side is a hidden residential gem that offers superb views of the North Shore, downtown and English Bay. Mackenzie Heights is bordered by King Edward Avenue to the north, West 37th Avenue to the south, Blenheim Street to the west and Larch Street to the east. The highly sought after single-family homes in Mackenzie Heights offer an attractive mix of old classic craftsman style homes and new contemporary ones. While there are no schools directly within Mackenzie Heights borders, many of the best public and private schools are but minutes away. These include Crofton House,York House, Little Flower Academy, Vancouver College, and St. George’s. Balaclava Park is noted for its wading pool, popular off-leash dog area, running track and multiple sports fields.

Meantime, the number of Chinese-speaking residents has risen to 34 percent in recent years.
